Are Facials Really Important?

So, are facials essential? I saw a quote once saying “Facials are like workouts for your skin.” That is how I have described them ever since! Getting a facial once a month is an important step in your skincare routine. Having a good regimen at home, and going to see your aesthetician once a month is a NECESSITY! Your skin will feel and look better than ever!

We would start your facial with an oil cleanse. This helps remove dirt, oil, and makeup. Next, we steam, cleanse, and exfoliate the skin. I love adding on a dermaplane after cleansing and exfoliating. It gives you an even better exfoliation and smooth skin and removes all the peach fuzz!

Then comes the treatment part of the facial. This includes a light peel and a masque! (the dermaplane helps your products penetrate deeper into the skin which makes this step even more effective) While your masque is doing its thing, you get to enjoy a relaxing hand, arm, and shoulder massage. We then finish you off with a facial massage, serums, moisturizer, and OF COURSE sunscreen! (super important – especially for this time of year) Each facial is customized for your skin. Before each treatment, you have a consultation talking about your skin, skin concerns, etc. That way each facial is made just for you!
